LG Electronics Steps up Smart TV-Metaverse Drive
The South Korean tech titan LG Electronics has announced that it will intensify its metaverse activities. And the firm claims that a new deal will allow it to bring Web3 and metaverse experiences to owners of its smart TVs. The company, which made multiple metaverse-related pledges at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, said it would team up with the metaverse operator Oorbit to allow LG smart TV owners to access “interoperable” virtual worlds....
