Genius Group to issue blockchain-based digital discount coupons to shareholders
Education company Genius Group ( NYSE: GNS ) is set issue a $10 blockchain-based digital discount coupon, or non-fungible token, per share to all shareholders. The plan, approved by the board, aims to reward shareholders and is a part of the ongoing prevention measures being implemented by the company's illegal trading task force. The company has begun the application process for dual listing of its shares on the trading app for digital securities, Upstream. Post the dual listing, the company will issue $10 NFT coupons per share to its shareholders on Upstream. The record date to confirm all shareholders is Feb. 28. Shareholders can then redeem the tokens for Genius Education Merits on the company's platform, GeniusU. Source: Press Release
