Meme coin Shiba Inu ( SHIB-USD ) drove up 4.5% in Thursday trading about a day after the Shibarium Network provided some details about the upcoming Shibarium Beta Network, via a tweet thread . The network started by thinking the Shiba community for the "energy and excitement" surrounding the phased introduction. Specifically, it clarified that Bone ShibaSwap will be the only token selected for the networks gas fees and use, dispelling rumors that other tokens would be used. "No other tokens will be necessary to operate within protocol," the network said. As for the world's largest crypto by market cap, bitcoin ( BTC-USD ) edged up 0.1% in the past 24 hours to ~$16.8K. On Wednesday, cardano's ( ADA-USD ) price jumped as trading sentiment across the cryptocurrency market turned risk-on.
