Coinbase valued at $77B ahead of IPO - that's more than ICE
Ahead of what's expected to be a direct public listing in the next few months, Coinbase (COINB) is being valued at $77B based on trades taking place on the Nasdaq Private Market, reports Coindesk.According to the story, a third weekly deal closed at the end of last week for $303 per share - that's up from $200 in the first week of Private Market trade.At $77B, Coinbase would have a higher market cap than the $63B ICE (ICE), the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, among other assets.
