Chinese cryptocurrency miners are dealing with a shortage of Nvidia's (NVDA) GeForce RTX 30 desktop graphics cards by turning to GeForce RTX 30-powered laptops, according to social media posts examined by Wccftech and Cointelegraph.GPU mining has regained popularity thanks to the massive gains of Ehtereum since last year.The mining demand could create shortages in the laptop market for Nvidia's RTX 30 GPUs.NVDA shares are up 6.3% to $578.13.Previously: Crypto demand for Nvidia GPUs drove shortages in early 2018, which caused CEO Jensen Huang to come out and say cryptocurrency "is not our business."
