Bitcoin (BTC-USD) is rising a bit (up 1.4%) this morning to $33.8K after Tesla's founder/CEO Elon Musk promoted the digital currency in Clubhouse audio app late yesterday.Musk, confirming a Tweet about bitcoin last week that sent the currency soaring to $37K, said during a Clubhouse session yesterday that bitcoin "is really on the verge of getting broad acceptance by conventional finance people,” according to a CNBC report.“I do at this point think bitcoin is a good thing, and I am a supporter of bitcoin,” Musk said.Musk added that he didn't have a "strong opinion" on other digital currencies.Earlier, Elon Musk busts Clubhouse limit, fans stream to YouTube, he switches to interviewing Robinhood CEO, TechCrunch says.Earlier, Clubhouse, the social network Elon Musk just joined, plans to make money through subscriptions, CNBC reports.Recall Jan. 29, Robinhood resumes limited buys of squeeze stocks, limits crypto trading.
