Among several online casino games, online poker was among the first to join the blockchain network due to the fairness and transparency offered by distributed ledger technology (DLT). As this industry continues to grow, Virtue Poker, an Ethereum-based decentralized poker platform, is all set to explore new use cases of blockchain and gambling by introducing non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to the online gambling community.
Virtue Poker has signed a partnership deal with SuperFarm, one of the leading cross-chain DeFi protocols, to conduct its Initial DEX Offerings (IDO) ahead of its mainnet launch in May. Following the closure of the IDO, SuperFarm will also assist Virtue Poker in building NFTs using its innovative technology of converting native utility tokens into NFTs without any technicalities.
The IDO will be conducted on SuperStarter, SuperFarm’s innovator launchpad. The platform includes a suite of product launch tools and additional support in raising funds, management, and development. SuperFarm’s Founder, Elliot Wainmann, said, “Virtue Poker makes for an excellent partner for our recently introduced SuperStarter platform, showcasing its enormous benefits to the SuperFarm community and the high caliber of projects wishing to integrate NFTs in their stack.
Virtue Poker will be listing a limited number of Virtue Player Points (VPP) tokens in the upcoming IDO, offering direct access to community members to own the tokens. All VPP token holders will also get access to creative marketing strategies, lowered transaction fees, and an opportunity to stake their holdings for profits. Following the successful closure of the IDO, Virtue Poker will be unveiling its first drop of NFTs.
Backed by leading investors like Flurry Capital, DFG Group, Pantera Capital, and several others, Virtue Poker uses smart contracts, P2P networking, advanced cryptography, and sidechain infrastructure to bring greater transparency and security to online gambling.
